MTBMA Hosts Women in Transportation Summit

On May 4th, MTBMA hosted the first ever Women in Transportation Summit. Under a new partnership with our WISE group, Ashton Alban was in attendance and spreading the news about WISE. In an effort to continue to support this partnership, we are encouraging everyone to register for MTBMA’s upcoming event Quarry 5K Family Fun Run & Walk that benefits Construction Angels.

Free ASSP Fall Protection Online Courses

ASSP is offering 3 FREE online courses on fall protection!

The online self-paced series covers the three parts of the personal fall arrest system (PFAS) — the “anchor,” the “bodywear” and the “connecting device” — widely known as the ABCs. ASSP developed these sessions under an OSHA Susan Harwood training grant. You’ll earn 0.3 CEUs for each course you complete.

WISE Mentoring Program

The WISE Mentoring program successfully connects today’s most talented and experienced women mentors with rising and aspiring mentees. This pairing is designed to encourage and empower mentees to more effectively advance their careers through alignment with identified business objective, skill development, career option consideration, and network formation. All discussions are strictly confidential between the two parties. If you are an SH&E practitioner seeking to chart a successful career path or a seasoned pro eager to share experiences and insight, please visit the ASSP WISE website for more information.
